Europe has so many wonderful places to visit that it is very difficult for you to choose a place for your next escape. Here are some of favorite destinations.
1. PARIS
Beside Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, the city of light rewards repeat visitors, whether you want to climb Montmartre, shop on Avenue Montaigne, or dine in great bistros... Paris is a beautiful city, making the most of the scenery. I never catch the metro to get to and from places that i want to visit, the most beautiful and scenic way to one side of Paris to the other is a walk along the Seine river. Paris is becoming Greener and more pedestrian-friendly.
2. AMSTERDAM
A city of narrow houses, myriad canals, and flower markets, Amsterdam remains a great capital. Don’t miss the magnificently restored Rijks museum and Anne Frank’s House. Amsterdam has more than 150 canals and 1250 bridges, but it never seems crowded, nor bent and bitter from fleecing the tourist. Discover tourist attractions such as: Discover the oldest core of Amsterdam, discover wildlife amid landmark city architecture in Amsterdam, go deeper into the 400-year-old canals of Amsterdam.
3. PROVENCE
Feilds of lavender, bustling farmers’ markets, and beautiful medieval villages have made Provence popular. Ancient Arles and Avignon’s Palais de Papes are stunning. Provence travel also boasts some of the country's best antiquing, wine tasting, and dining-whether at a family-run restaurant, a Michelin-starred temple de haute cuisine, or a DIY picnic crafted from edibles purchased at a local farmers' market.
4. COUNTY KERRY
Plenty of green helps make the Irish countryside quintessentially . County Kerry contains some of Ireland's most iconic scenery: surf-pounded sea cliffs and soft golden strands, emerald-green farmland criss-crossed by tumbledown stone walls, mist-shrouded bogs and cloud-torn mountain peaks. With one of the country's finest national parks as its backyard, the lively tourism hub of Killarney spills over with colourful shops, restaurants and pubs loud with spirited trad music
5. COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen is the coolest kid on the Nordic block. Cafés and modern design shops abound in this walkable city. Tivoli Gardens is a top pick; the national museum is one of Europe’s treasures. A royal capital with almost nine centuries under its svelte belt, it's equally well versed when it comes to world-class museums and story book streetscapes. With scenery like this (the canal-side Copenhagen district of Nyhavn), one of the greenest capital cities, a history of inventing things like Lego toys and homeware that looks like art, it's no wonder the Danes are officially the happiest people on Earth.
6. AMALFI COAST
The beauty of southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast is legendary, and has inspired artists, writers, and such illustrious musicians as Richard Wagner. The azure waters and picturesque towns of the Amalfi Coast have been a draw for writers, artists, and now tourists. The area is easy to explore by car or ferry; Positano is one of Fodor’s favorite seaside spots in Italy. Deemed by Unesco to be an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, the Amalfi Coast is a beguiling combination of great beauty and gripping drama: coastal mountains plunge into the sea in a stunning vertical scene of precipitous crags, picturesque towns and lush forests.
